Remote lessons
DSE Music Tuition has conducted music lessons via Skype or Zoom for years, this is not something we have jumped into as a response to the health crisis.
For years we have taught students across Australia via Skype or zoom from those in remote areas to those unable to travel, with fantastic results. It even has features that allow us to share documents (sheet music & learning material) within the call.
Most importantly, when a teacher or school is well set up and experienced in its operation, it is an extremely effective format to deliver music lessons.
Skype & Zoom are free to download, work on any operating system or device including smart TV's, desktops, laptops, tablets & phones.
We understand that some of you may consider this a 'new' approach and be unsure of the effectiveness but remember that video conferencing is used around the globe for business meetings, as a learning tool and a myriad of other interactions.
